Bacillus megatherium

Bacillus megatherium can be used for the production of phosphate-solubilizing and potassium-fixing fertilizers. It has strong abilities to decompose organophosphorus compounds in soil and is a commonly used strain in bio-organic fertilizer production. It also has inhibitory effects on certain crop pathogenic bacteria.

I. Ingredients: Bacillus megatherium and its metabolites, suitable carrier.

Characteristics of Bacillus megatherium:

1). Refined through a unique fermentation process.

2). Strong reproduction ability: rapid propagation, easy survival, and high stability.

Functions of Bacillus megatherium:

1). Improve fertilizer efficiency and promote phosphorus absorption.

Bacillus megatherium is a phosphate-solubilizing bacterium characterized by rapid reproduction, strong viability, safety, and non-toxicity. It can dissolve calcium phosphate, iron phosphate, aluminum phosphate, and other compounds that are difficult for crops to absorb, thereby improving the utilization of insoluble phosphorus in soil.

2). Increase crop yield and improve crop quality.

This product produces large amounts of protease, amino acids, cytokinins, and other substances, which can significantly improve the absorption of nitrogen, phosphorus, and other nutrients by plants.

3). Antibacterial disease prevention and growth promotion.

It can be applied to tobacco leaves to prevent plant diseases and enhance tobacco fermentation and aroma development.

Application Scope of Bacillus megatherium:

Production of bio-organic fertilizers and fermented organic fertilizers.

Application & Dosage of Bacillus megatherium:

The following dosage is calculated based on a viable count of 10 billion CFU/g. Dosages of other products may be adjusted according to the actual content.

1). Organic fertilizer application or drip irrigation (soluble carrier): Mix 1-2 kg/mu of this product with farm manure, chemical fertilizer, or an appropriate amount of fine soil, then apply as top dressing or surface application. For transplanted crops, it can also be applied in holes or furrows. During mechanized fertilization, this product can be mixed with compound fertilizer or organic fertilizer and applied together into the soil or sprayed with water. (Better results can be achieved when used with Bacillus subtilis or Bacillus mucilaginosus.)

2). Fermented organic fertilizer: Recommended to use together with fermentation products such as Bacillus subtilis or organic matter decomposing agents. Recommended dosage: 100-150 g/ton.

Notes:     Do not use simultaneously with disinfectants or antimicrobial agents.

Shelf Life:     Store in a cool and dry place for 12 months.
